Day three of Prince George's birthday coverage and people are still going insane over him - with new pictures released by the royals only fuelling the frenzy.
Here is the Daily Mail reminiscing about George's christening in October, when he was three months old:
He was on his best behaviour. With the eyes of the world on him, His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge put on a perfect display of royal etiquette.
And here is how Vanity Fair - who lest we forget described George as the world's most "eligible bachelor" - described this photo:
Dressed in a well-coordinated blue outfit, arms held up as if conducing an imaginary orchestra, a mid-stride George looked equal parts regal and adorable.
That's right: regal and adorable. The Times (£) meanwhile, said the "very advanced" George was right to practise his wave in the pictures. "One moment it is a humble butterfly, the next it is thousands of adoring subjects." We think they were joking. We hope they were joking.
In the midst of all the chaos, the BBC offered some much-needed analysis:
Just like many of the other 2,200 babies born in the UK on the same day, last year, George Alexander Louis will mark his birthday with a party. His though, will be at a palace and his guest of honour will be his great-grandmother, the Queen.
Over at their rivals ITV, someone at Good Morning Britain actually thought this would be a good idea.
Today we're celebrating Prince George's first birthday with 6 babies in the studio who also turn 1 today and share his name (wish us luck!)— Good Morning Britain (@GMB) July 22, 2014
People magazine, meanwhile, topped everyone by enlisting the services of a woman they describe as Princess Diana's former astrologer, Penny Thornton, to discuss the Prince.
Thornton has been surprised by George's outgoing personality, most recently displayed during the royal family's April tour Down Under. "As a Sun Cancer with Moon in Capricorn and Scorpio rising, I expected him to be strong and fixed in purpose," she says. "But I didn't expect to see him so comfortable in the public eye. I think it shows how well Kate and William have brought him up.
Small reminder: Prince George is a baby.
Also big shout out to People magazine for this:
